BMX IS DEAD
The year is 2025. The BMX industry reels in the aftershock of a crash after the COVID 19 bicycle sales boom. BMX shops are closing. Companies are blowing out inventory and struggling to pay riders. Several companies have dropped their entire teams and some have left cycling altogether. Full size monthly BMX print magazines have ceased to exist and very few can survive without some sort of real job. Many would say that BMX IS DEAD!

The year is 2025. There is more access for BMX than ever before. The level of riding and quality of bikes are higher than they ever have been. Freestyle BMX is in the Olympics and X Games will host 3 live BMX events this year alone. Zine’s and crews exist across the globe. There are more local BMX events happening every weekend than one person can attend. A large corporate company has come back to BMX and companies have started from scratch. Many would say BMX is the best it’s ever been.
